State publishes report on international coal conference

State and University of Wyoming officials have released a 31-page report on the Wyoming delegation’s trip to China to attend the International Advanced Coal Technologies Conference in June. Wyoming’s delegation included Wyoming Gov. Matt Mead, Gillette Mayor Tom Murphy, three Wyoming legislators, several University of Wyoming students and several UW School of Energy Resources faculty.

Longtime Wyoming journalist Geoff O’Gara also attended the conference in China’s Shaanxi Province and filed a report for WyoFile, “Coal Connections; Wyoming-Chinese delegation tout solidarity on cleaner coal.”
