Jason Shogren is the Stroock Chair of Natural Resource Conservation and Management in the Department of Economics at the University of Wyoming, his alma mater. He studies the behavioral and institutional underpinnings of environmental and economic policy. Shogren served on the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, the Council of Economic Advisers in the White House and Wyoming’s Environmental Quality Council. He is a foreign member of the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences.
