WyoFile Collaborations

Collaboration is central to WyoFile’s mission: “to inform and engage Wyoming with in-depth reporting in the public interest.” Our work is free for qualifying outlets to republish — a resource that Wyoming newspapers used nearly 3,000 times in 2024 alone. We have a long history of working with colleagues in the Wyoming press corps and beyond to perform joint investigations, produce podcasts, coordinate coverage and otherwise expand the depth, breadth and quality of public service journalism available to all. Healthy democracies, resilient communities and effective governments all depend on a robust, independent watchdog press.

In response to reader demand, and the accelerating challenges facing local news providers, WyoFile has doubled down on its investment in joint projects. With the addition of a new editorial position focused on collaborations, WyoFile has multiplied the human power available to produce rigorous, factual reporting in concert with Wyoming newspapers, broadcasters and digital news sites, ensuring that Wyoming’s stakeholders have more of the local reporting they need to effectively participate in civic life.
