BLM posts federal oil and gas parcels slated for November sale

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Wyoming State Office has posted its proposed list of parcels for the quarterly competitive oil and gas lease sale scheduled for Tuesday, November 6, at the Holiday Inn in Cheyenne. Doors open at 7 a.m. and the auction begins at 8 a.m.

The list of 105 lease parcels totals 130,600.32 acres across Albany, Carbon, Laramie, Lincoln, Sublette, Sweetwater, and Uinta counties in Wyoming. The parcels are now under a 30-day public protest period, which means citizens may object to one or more lease parcel and ask that it be removed from the lease sale.
