Galina Andreyevna Brunko
December 21, 1986 – October 8, 2026
Parrish, Florida
Shared by: Haskell Funeral Home
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Galina Andreevna Brunko, beloved mother and wife, who passed away on October 8, 2026, in Parrish, Florida, at the age of 39. This final rest concludes our battle with breast cancer. She fought this battle the same way she lived every moment of her life: indomitable, tenacious, curious, beautiful, and magnetic.
Galina Andreevna Brunko was born on December 21, 1986 in the City of Volzhsky, Volgograd Region, Russia, to her Father, Andrey Alexandrovich Galvansky, and her mother, Anna Viktorovna Vlasenko. Soon a younger sister, Natalia (Natasha) completed the family unit. The sisterhood they shared was among Galina’s most prized possessions; a value accumulated over decades of consistent, unconditional, protective love for one another.
They primarily spent their upbringing in the Volgograd Region, where economic hardship, political uncertainty, and the generational traumas of war were met with resilience, resourcefulness, playfulness, and close community ties.
In describing Galina as a child her sister Natasha writes, “For as long as I can remember, Galya was restless, inquisitive, and remarkably quick-witted. Even as a child, she loved joining the conversations of the grandmothers sitting on the bench, discussing high prices, medications, and other decidedly adult topics right alongside them. She taught herself to read by the age of four. At school, Galya picked things up instantly.
Teachers adored her and often overlooked her antics because of her sharp mind and amazing abilities.”
When Galina was 14 years old her father died. In this struggle, her mother loved her with a widow’s might. Galina spoke often of the deep gratitude she had for her mother, and the admiration she had for her resilience, intelligence, work ethic, and people skills. Galina had the opportunity to share her talented mind and playful spirit with many caregivers, each providing a new opportunity for her to test and explore her reality and theirs.
It was in these earliest of moments that Galina began thinking about her future babies. Every thought, feeling, belief, and goal was heavily flavored with thoughts for her children, and the sacred role she would play as mother. This passionate desire would fill her life with purpose, and was given top priority in every passing stage of life.
She passed through these stages deeply determined and with ever increasing focus on her future children, while maintaining what onlookers could only describe as an irresistible charm and a relative ease of life. She was early and eager to attend University, and progressed quickly towards her mother’s shared goal of a degree.
As soon as she was able, at the age of 18, Galina was baptized by Jeffrey Lockhart and became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. This not only marked the beginning of a rigorous religious pursuit that provided deep healing and personal insight, it was the beginning of her relationship with the Lockharts. At the age of 19 the Lockharts welcomed Galina into their home in California, USA.
Over the next 21 years Bradford and Lisa Lockhart would provide and love for Galina as their own. With a gratitude beyond expression she added Jennie (Daniel) Pittman, Jeffrey (Ariel) Lockhart, Bradford “Scott” (Callie) Lockhart, Curtis (Megan) Lockhart, Patrick Lockhart, Julianne (Michael) Oberg, and Melanie (Andrew) Finlinson to her list of siblings. Galina was blessed with many additional aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents, and given the affectionate nickname Andy.
The long walks and foot massages that would later carry her through pregnancies and our battle with cancer were comforting echoes of dad’s consistent efforts to show Andy just how truly loved, cherished, and protected she was in their family. The impact of this love is profound, and a perfect reminder, that love conquers all. Galina is proceeded in death, and once again enters the loving presence of her mom, Lisa Lockhart.
With this additional support Galina immediately restarted her pursuits of higher education in her new country and language. She joyously excelled at both the language and education, graduating from Brigham Young University with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Information Systems on August 9, 2012 at the age of 25. She immediately began her intended career that same year with Earnest and Young of Irvine, California.
The three years spent working there, while continuing to live with the Lockhart’s in their home, allowed Galina the opportunity to pay off all of her student loans, and purchase herself her first vehicle, brand new at to her exact specifications. These displays of expecting the very best from life, working tirelessly to earn it, never compromising on her goals, and being quick to acknowledge those that made it possible have been constants in her life.
In 2015 Galina returned to BYU in pursuit of her Master’s Degree. During this time she met her husband, Jacob. On October 22, 2015, for their 5th date, they were married at the Fourth District Courthouse of Utah County in Provo, UT; one week after meeting, and 200 text messages after, “Hi, this is Jake from Tinder :)” Galina’s decision was made sure by the opportunity to witness the relationship Jacob held with his daughter, Addison Brunko.
In that beautiful relationship Galina saw first the young girl who needed a mother, and then the father she would honor with the title of husband. Jacob was stupefied to discover the most incredible soul he had ever encountered, cloaked by the most physically beautiful woman he had ever seen. He eagerly turned her light mention of marriage into reality before discovering there was a father in Brad Lockhart who deserved the request for permission, or even that her maiden name started with a V.
On October 1, 2016, Galina’s lifelong dream to bring life into the world came to fruition, with the birth of her daughter Avelynn Mae Brunko. Avelynn was soon followed by Liam Gary George Brunko (May 10, 2018) and Jaxon Brooks Brunko (September 6, 2021). On August 4, 2018, Jacob and Galina were joined by family and friends at the Provo City Center Temple where they were sealed as a family for time and all eternity.
With her babies secured Galina happily welcomed every hour of opportunity to fulfill her goals to meet their every need. This included maintaining her career while growing her young family, and making many more friends while working at Sallie Mae (April 2016 – August 2018), Nu Skin (January 2018 – July 2019), The Cadence Group (July 2019 – January 2022), and Linford and Company (January 2022 – September 2022).
Every hour worked was with the financial security of her children in mind, many of those hours worked while actively breast feeding (sometimes two at a time). The long days in front of the computer did nothing to take away from her enthusiasm and energy for her kids, including insisting that they all have the opportunity to snuggle her as long as they like throughout the night, as late into life as her King size bed could stand.
Every beautiful home that she procured for them could have been reduced to the one bedroom apartment of her childhood, and the sleeping pile would be no different. While meeting all their maternal needs perfectly she provided for them lavishly.
On October 31, 2022, while still breast feeding our youngest, Galina was diagnosed with Her 2+ Breast Cancer, Stage 4 with metastasis in her lymph nodes, liver, and bones. Consistent with every moment in life, her immediate thoughts were for her children. Among every other possible consideration, she decided, and I agreed, that a private approach would best protect the kids from what lay ahead.
This decision has removed from so many of you the opportunity to support the person and people you love so much, and the adequate time you needed to say goodbye. This unwanted side effect was a part of the known consequences of her and our decision, and we thank you for offering these involuntary sacrifices that decision required of you.
Know that we consider those sacrifices sacred along with our own, as they are offered up to our children and to God as evidence of our absolute love and appreciation for both.

Stacey Ryanne Hayes
Sep 13, 2011 — Oct 14, 2026
Cheyenne, Wyoming
Shared by: Schrader, Aragon & Jacoby Funeral Home
It is with great shock and sadness that we announce the passing of Stacey Ryanne Hayes on October 14, 2026, at the age of 15.
For the 5,510 days that Stacey was on this earth, she made an immeasurable difference in everyone lucky enough to be loved by her.
Stacey’s favorite place to be was the ocean, often running into it singing Disney songs to escape the humanness of the world and with a longing to swim with her favorite creature on the earth, the Orca whale.
It comes as no surprise that they were her favorite – Orcas are known for being playful and gregarious, exhibiting stubborn and protective behaviors to those they love most. They tend to be patient, peaceable, and non-bullying. They’re affectionate, cheerful, and high in curiosity. In their family, they demonstrate levels of independence, bravery, sensitivity, and protectiveness.
Stacey’s spirit truly encompassed her favorite thing on earth. She was playful, especially with her dad, Randy. Teasing each other relentlessly, it was rare that she and her dad weren’t smiling and laughing in each other’s company. She was fiercely protective of her siblings, Lily & Kane, and anyone lucky enough to call her a friend. She hated bullying, standing up for those that felt most vulnerable or new in her class and school. She was affectionate and cheerful, especially if she made it known that she favored you, and she was authentic and brave – always making sure you felt her honesty, and walking purposefully out of rooms she didn’t want to be in. She was never afraid to be herself, she guarded her family with an intensity that can only be defined as love, and she stuck close to her best friend – her mom, Michelle. Partners in everything, Stacey loved helping her with cooking, helping with outside chores, and helping with her siblings.
As a lover of animals even more than humans, Stacey loved adopting the loner chicken, riding her horses without a saddle, spending time with her stubborn pigs, catching birds with her bare hands in the sunroom, and letting her dog (Dallas) take up her whole bed at night.
A natural leader, her confidence in the show ring with her pigs was unmatched.
Still just a sweet girl in the world though, Stacey loved expressing her creativity in her style, her hair color, and her impressive Squishmallow collection.
Though Stacey’s life was cut far too short by an invisible pain that became too heavy to bear, their family asks that we remember her not by how their life ended, but by how fiercely she loved, protected and played – and that we honor her by doing the same.
Stacey’s impression on the world has been demonstrated greatly by the way the family has already felt so cared for in this time. Gratitude will never be able to be expressed enough to thank those that have stepped in to help shoulder this unbelievable loss.
Stacey is survived and missed by her dad, Randy (Hayes), mom, Michelle (Hayes), and siblings Lily (Hayes) and Kane (Hayes).
Forever cherished and remembered by her grandparents (Debra Routh, Finis (Andrew) Routh, Rory & Chris Hayes), aunts & uncles, cousins (Justin, Erin, Wyatt, Raegan, & Sadie Ramsey, and Janie Routh, Austin Forbes, & Leila Forbes, and Derek Routh), and all extended family and friends.
No gifts or flowers are expected. Should friends desire, contributions may be sent to provide for and cover the unexpected service expenses for the Hayes family in her absence.

Family and friends are welcome to gather with the family on Stacey’s favorite holiday, Halloween (10/31/2026) from 1pm-3pm at the Community House in Cheyenne WY (603 Lions Park Dr, Cheyenne, WY 82001). Costumes encouraged or whatever you are most comfortable wearing (she idolized Adam Sandler’s style).

Afton, Wyoming

With broken hearts, we announce the passing of Adrian James Miller, a beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, and friend who left us far too soon. Adrian passed away on October 4, 2026, in Afton, Wyoming, where he had most recently made his home. He was 26 years old.
Adrian was born on November 15, 1999, in Blackfoot, Idaho. He spent his early years in Blackfoot with his mother before moving to Rock Springs, Wyoming, with his father.
Adrian shared a special bond with each of his parents. His mother was a source of love and comfort, someone he could turn to when he needed her most. She was there for him through life’s challenges, and he always held a special place in her heart. With his father, Adrian shared the everyday companionship of working side by side. They were so much alike, sharing a sense of humor that brought laughter to their days and made their bond even more special.
Their days together created precious memories his dad will carry with him always. Both parents will miss their son more than words can express.
Adrian was a gentle soul with a special love for animals. His beloved husky, Blue, was a gift from his grandmother, Nelda, and became a treasured companion. He loved taking Blue swimming and spending time outdoors with him.
He found happiness in music, family time, working alongside his dad, and evenings gathered around bonfires. These simple joys were a cherished part of his life and are among the moments those who loved him will remember most tenderly.
Adrian leaves behind his loving mother, Marina Ventura, and his father, James Richard Miller; his brothers, Anthony James Miller and Damion Miller; his sister-in-law, Taylor Miller; and his only nephew, Ash Michael Miller.
He is also survived by his paternal grandmother, Vickie Miller; his paternal grandfather, Bruce Miller, and his wife, Jan Miller; his maternal grandparents, Nelda Velasco and Antonio Velasco; his great-grandmother, Beverly Gough; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved him deeply. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Blue.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Dick Gough.
There should have been more time—more family gatherings, more music, more evenings around the fire, and more days with Blue by his side. Though Adrian’s life was far too short, he gave his family memories and love that will remain with them for the rest of their lives.
Adrian, you were deeply loved. You will be missed beyond words and held in our hearts always.
