In celebration of Wyoming’s 125th anniversary on July 10, the Wyoming State Museum has created a special exhibit that will chronicle significant events in the state’s history year by year. The exhibit officially opened this week, and will feature one decade of Wyoming history per week for the next 13 weeks.

Beginning with the current year and going back in time for the past 125 years, the exhibit will display objects from the State Museum’s collection, as well as historic photos and documents from the State Archives.

The 125th Anniversary exhibit will be on display until July, 2017. The Wyoming State Museum is located at 2301 Central Avenue in Cheyenne. Hours are 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Admission is free.
