CHEYENNE—It won’t be long before lawmakers, lobbyists, journalists and other statehouse denizens gather in the Wyoming Capitol in Cheyenne to commence the 2025 general session.
For now, though, a roughly 25-foot tree, bejeweled with lights and ornaments stands beneath the statehouse rotunda. With the support of The Arc of Cheyenne, the tree’s ornaments are handmade by children and adults with developmental disabilities.

It strikes me that calling Wyoming ”the Equality State” is now a misnomer. This is just a thought as you write your headlines.
Wyoming really needs to change the nickname ” the equality state”. It is far, far off the mark.
