Jackson Hole financier, Nature Conservancy duke it out in court

The 10th Circuit Court of Appeals will weigh in on a civil dispute between a Teton County landowner and The Nature Conservancy over a conservation easement. Energy developer seeks review of wind farm rejection

The company seeking to build a 170-turbine wind farm northwest of Cheyenne has asked a district court judge to review a September denial of its site plan. ConnectGen Laramie County, an affiliate of project developer Repsol Renewables North America, filed the petition asking a judge to review the Laramie County Commission’s 3-1 vote to reject the project, the Wyoming Tribune reports. Wyoming’s last streetcar finds forever home

Wyoming’s last remaining streetcar, Sheridan’s streetcar No. 115, was hoisted Thursday onto a flatbed trailer and hauled to Sheridan Community Land Trust property. The streetcar was part of a larger fleet operated by the Sheridan Railway Company, beginning in 1910, which provided Sheridanites at the time with robust public transit. Northern Wyoming farmers report epic beet harvest

Harvested numbers look certain to better the previous best tonnage year in the Western Sugar Cooperative’s Lovell factory district history. Buffalo police chief warns of evolving scams employing AI

Scams are getting worse with the use of technology, including scammers using AI to impersonate people on the phone. Buffalo Police Chief Sean Bissett said in one local incident, a grandparent almost withdrew money from his bank account after a call that sounded like his grandson.
