Rock Springs councilman files formal ethics complaint against mayor

However, the complaint is not “sufficient,” according to City Attorney Richard Beckwith. Police shoot man after shots fired from home

The Sheridan Police Department reported officers shot a man early Sunday morning while responding to a call reporting a woman in distress and making statements about someone wanting to kill her baby. When officers attempted to contact an involved party, a man exited a home and then suddenly retreated back inside, followed by several gunshots in the direction of the officers. School board chairman: District ‘getting screwed’ with new school cost formula

Goshen County resident urges WYDOT to rebuild crash-prone highway

Goshen County resident Natalie Johnson is calling on the Wyoming Department of Transportation to widen and reconstruct a stretch of U.S. Highway 85 south of Torrington, citing years of fatal and life-altering crashes along the corridor, the Torrington Telegram reports. “Growing up in Goshen County, I was always told to be aware of taking 85 — to avoid it at all cost,” Johnson said. “The older I get, the more I’ve seen close friends and many people in this community getting hurt and not surviving the accidents.” Read the full story.
