As of 10:30 a.m., May 11, 2020 

  1. Wyoming: Confirmed cases of COVID-19: 504. Deaths: 7. Recovered: 443. Probable, untested cases: 158. 
  2. By county: Fremont County leads the state with 176 confirmed cases, followed by Laramie with 110, Teton with 67, Natrona with 38 and Campbell with 16. Two counties, Platte and Weston, have reported no cases. 
  3. Testing: 13,956 tests have been administered and processed, according to the Wyoming Department of Health. 
  4. United States: 1,332,411 confirmed cases, according to the Johns Hopkins Institute. Total deaths: 79,607 — Total recoveries: 216,169.
  5. The latest: Wyoming’s confirmed-case count ticked passed the 500 mark over the weekend, with the greatest number of cases in Fremont County. State numbers show that the county also has done far more testing than any other in Wyoming. According to the WDOH COVID-19 dashboard, as of Friday, Fremont County had conducted 4,527 tests with 164 positive results. Laramie County, meanwhile, had conducted 1,384 tests with 109 positive results; Sweetwater had conducted 966 tests with 12 positive results; Park had conducted 367 tests with 1 positive result; Crook had conducted 29 tests with 5 positive results and Platte had conducted 90 tests with 0 positive results. 
  6. More news: More than $48 million in federal relief aid has been divvied up to roughly 400 Wyoming healthcare providers, clinics and hospitals, the Casper Star-Tribune reports. Those facilities have seen their revenues devastated as the outbreak has shut down elective procedures and other services. Wyoming ranchers prepare for dropping prices and other losses due to the pandemic, the Wyoming Tribune Eagle reports. As coronavirus cases at meat plants across the U.S. continue to climb, some Wyoming grocery stores have begun implementing purchase limits, according to the Casper Star-Tribune.

  1. Confused, ?? What are the rules to go out in public? Mask- yes. 6ft apart- yes. How many people allowed at a gathering etc. Graduation party, funeral??
