Travis Deti is executive director of the Wyoming Mining Association (WMA). A native of Laramie, Deti holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Wyoming. Prior to joining WMA in 2011, he worked as legislative assistant and field representative to U.S. Sens. Craig Thomas and John Barrasso in both Washington, D.C. and Cheyenne. Deti is a former sergeant in the United States Marine Corps and is a veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He and his wife live in Cheyenne and have two sons.
