Wyoming BLM’s Resource Advisory Council will meet in Buffalo then tour Welch Ranch

(Press release) The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Wyoming Resource Advisory Council (RAC) will meet Wednesday, Aug. 21,Thursday, Aug. 22, and Friday, Aug. 23, at the Buffalo Field Office, 1425 Fort Street, Buffalo, Wyo.
The meeting is open to the public. The meeting will begin on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. and at 8 a.m. on Thursday and Friday. Planned agenda topics include uranium and cultural issues, recreation conflicts, land acquisitions and follow-up to previous meetings.
On Thursday, Aug 22 at approximately 2:45 p.m., there will be a field tour of Welch Ranch. The public may attend the field tour portion of the agenda, but must provide their own transportation. High clearance vehicles are recommended.
The public comment period will be Aug. 23 at 8 a.m. Interested persons may make oral comments or file written statements for the council to consider. Depending on the number of persons wishing to comment and time available, the time for individual oral comments may be limited. If there are no members of the public interested in speaking, the meeting will move on to the next agenda topic.
