Vandalism at Heart Mountain landmark, state land sparks request for tips

Four separate incidents of vandalism have damaged the historic hospital at the Heart Mountain National Historic Landmark, Wyoming Public Radio reports. The most recent incident occurred late on Nov. 13, with others occurring over the past two months. Laramie County school board opposes city stormwater fee

The Laramie County School District 1 Board is opposing Cheyenne’s new stormwater fee, which it estimates could cost about $230,000 for district properties. Grand Targhee Resort delays ski season opening

For the first time since 2021, the ski hill in Alta is postponing its opening day, which was scheduled for Friday. The resort will open when it’s good and ready, and cold and snowy, the Jackson Hole Daily reports.
