Plane crash kills one in Bighorn Mountains

Jackson Hole ski area seeks special status

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is asking the Bridger-Teton National Forest for a new set of rules specific to ski hills that unbundles their regulation from other resort areas like summer homes, lodges and group camps. In an August letter, the News&Guide reports, the resort appeared to ask for leniency on standards used to maintain water quality and old growth.
