Lawmakers’ plan to axe property taxes would cost Teton County $181 million

At least $181 million in tax revenue from Teton County, which pays for public services and schools, could be lost annually if the Wyoming Legislature and voters eliminate residential property taxes, the Jackson Hole Daily reports. Bondurant Elementary’s only teacher wins Wyoming Teacher of the Year

Bondurant Elementary School has only one teacher, but Dr. Karin Unruh is everything Sublette County School District No. 1 and its students could want from an educator in rural Wyoming. Wyoming named Unruh “Teacher of the Year,” The Pinedale Roundup reports. “Her ability to engage and inspire students across multiple grades in a rural setting is nothing short of remarkable,” Superintendent Shannon Harris said. Campbell County discusses how to better deal with power outages
