Public meetings set for Shoshone National Forest plan
People have a chance to learn about the Shoshone National Forest Management plan this week at a series of public meetings held across the state this week.
Meetings run 5 to 7 p.m. with a question and answer period at 6 p.m. There also will be a talk about the socioeconomic analysis for the plan revision from 3 to 4 p.m. Sept. 27 in Thermopolis.

Sept. 26, Lander, Monarch Hall at the Pronghorn Lodge, 150 East Main St.
Sept. 27 Thermopolis, Big Horn Federal Savings Bank 643 Broadway St.
The Shoshone National Forest is in process of revising its plan that guides management of the 2.4 million acres for the next 15 to 20 years.
